Ready for another PG-13 comedic adventure with Ryan Reynolds? We are pretty excited to finally watch “Free Guy” this summer:
Twentieth Century Studios’ bring us “Free Guy”, which is directed by Shawn Levy (“Stranger Things”), and stars many of our favorite people: Ryan Reynolds (“Deadpool”, “The Hitman’s Bodyguard”), Jodie Comer (‘Killing Eve’), Joe Keery (‘Stranger Things’), Lil Rel Howery (“Get Out”), Utkarsh Ambudkar (“Brittany Runs a Marathon”) and writer/actor/director Taika Waititi (“Jojo Rabbit”). “Free Guy” opens in theaters nationwide August 13, 2021.
In “Free Guy,” Ryan Reynolds plays ‘Guy’, a bank teller who discovers he is actually a background player in an open-world video game. He makes the decision to become the hero of his own story… One that he rewrites himself! Now, in a world where there are no limits, Guy is determined to be the man who saves his world his way… before it is too late. The film is produced by Ryan Reynolds, p.g.a., Shawn Levy, p.g.a., Sarah Schechter, Greg Berlanti and Adam Kolbrenner with Mary McLaglen, Josh McLaglen, George Dewey, Dan Levine and Michael Riley McGrath serving as executive producers.
My daughter will FREAK when she sees some of the video gaming world’s most influential figures drop in for cameos including: Imane “Pokimane” Anys, Lannan “LazarBeam” Eacott, Seán William “Jacksepticeye” McLoughlin, Tyler “Ninja” Blevins and Daniel “DanTDM” Middleton.
