Check out the exciting, new trailer for Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Raya and the Last Dragon. This movie features Kelly Marie Tran (‘Rose’ from “Star Wars: The Last Jedi”) as the voice of the main character “Raya”. Raya is a lone warrior whose mission is to track down the legendary last dragon to save Kumandra and unite all the people of its lands.
Long ago, in the fantasy world of Kumandra, humans and dragons lived together in harmony. Then an evil force threatened the land, and the dragons sacrificed themselves to save humanity.
Now, 500 years later, that same evil has returned. This time, it is up to a lone warrior, Raya, to track down the legendary last dragon to restore the fractured land that divided its people.
Along her journey, she will learn that it takes more than a dragon to save the world. She will need trust and teamwork as well.
Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Raya and the Last Dragon comes to us from directors Don Hall and Carlos López Estrada, co-directors Paul Briggs and John Ripa, producers Osnat Shurer and Peter Del Vecho, and features the voices of Kelly Marie Tran as Raya and Awkwafina as the last dragon Sisu. Raya and the Last Dragon is scheduled to fly into U.S. theaters on March 12, 2021.
