PUG Log – Day 5
Back to the cold of Svardborg and it appears, from their titles, most of my group is part of the same alliance, so not a true PUG. Since I can trust them to know what they are doing, I try to pay more attention during the Manticore fight to get a better idea of what is so deadly during it. Best I can figure is if other players get targeted with the single arrow pointing down and need to move away from the group but don’t. This is my best guess for now, hope to never have to confirm this, as when whatever it is happens, it tends to wipe out the whole group.
PUG Log – Day 6
Took a break yesterday from PUG runs, as I had some errands to run in Protector’s Enclave. Yes, I still call this log day 6 as I’m only counting the day if I actually write an entry. Today’s return to saving the Sword Coast came with a trip to the far north again. Overall a solid PUG, the only real concern was at the start. One of the ranged dps or healers got stuck in ice and with everyone else being close ranged no one noticed them until it was too late. The stuck person didn’t yell for help either, but maybe they didn’t know what would happen to them. I know it sucked the first time I learned that in the north when you die, you stay dead. Well it’s not that bad, but you can’t return to the fight, all you can do is watch. On to plus side, that seemed to serve as a wakeup call to the group, which was now more aware of keeping an eye on the others for ice and thus the north was saved again.
