Have you seen the new Grinch movie yet? Initially when I first heard about this, I shrugged it off as ‘yet another remake’. Having grown up with the 1966 ‘How the Grinch Stole Christmas!’, I adored that cartoon, and especially the ‘You’re a Mean One, Mister Grinch’ theme song with Boris Karloff. It was one of my favorite network-television Christmas special, which I looked forward to every year.

But, as a huge fan of Benedict Cumberbatch (voice of ‘The Grinch’) and Illumination and Universal Pictures Despicable Me (2010), my curiosity was piqued. Much to my surprise, both my daughter and I enjoyed the movie. We believe that your family will have a great time too!
Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch is now available on Digital and via the digital movie app MOVIES ANYWHERE. 4K Ultra HD, 3D Blu-ray™, Blu-ray™, DVD and On Demand will be available on February 5, 2019.
The new 2018 Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch re-introduces us (and new audience members) to the grouchy green ‘Grinch’, his adorable and loyal dog ‘Max’, and his annoyingly jolly neighbors ‘the Whos’ who live in Whoville.

The DVD set also includes stunning featurettes, like this how-to-draw tutorial. Narrated by Grammy Award®winner and Oscar® nominee Pharrell Williams, Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch stars Academy Award® nominee Benedict Cumberbatch (Dr. Strange, “Sherlock”) as the infamous Grinch, who lives a solitary life inside a cave on Mt. Crumpit with only his loyal dog, Max, for company. The incredible voice cast also includes the talents of Rashida Jones (“Parks and Recreation,” The Muppets) as Donna Who, Kenan Thompson (“Saturday Night Live”) as Bricklebaum, Cameron Seely (The Greatest Showman) as Cindy-Lou Who, and featuring legendary actress Angela Lansbury (Anastasia, Beauty and the Beast) as the mayor of Whoville.
