Paddington 2 is out in theaters now. Grab your friends and family and enjoy this surprisingly enjoyable adventure! Over the years, I have become unimpressed with movie sequels and concerned about most PG-rated movies. Trust me, you will have a great time with Paddington 2. This delightful follow-up to the 2014 worldwide hit “Paddington,” finds Paddington the bear happily settled with the Brown family in London. He has become a popular member of the local community, spreading joy and marmalade wherever he goes.
Paddington 2 is a true, family-focused movie for the entire family. No need to worry about language, jokes or themes that you will need to protect or explain to children. Paddington 2 is rated PG for some action and mild rude humor. My 13-year old daughter and I enjoyed every minute, watching adorable Paddington make his way through the entertaining adventure and mystery.

While searching for the perfect present for his beloved Aunt Lucy’s 100th bear birthday, Paddington sees a unique pop-up book in Mr. Gruber’s antique shop. He embarks upon a series of odd jobs in the neighborhood to buy it. Meanwhile, the book is mysteriously stolen, and it is up to Paddington and the Browns to unmask the thief!

Reason I Enjoy Paddington 2
- Paddington bear is adorable! The special effects do not distract from the movie.
Many movies incorporate human actors alongside fantasy characters. Some use special effects that are creepy and make the movie difficult to enjoy. The crew behind Paddington and this sequel create the bear flawlessly, so we all can enjoy the magic of seeing the bear come alive in the movie. - Cast and Crew are wonderful talents.
Reuniting many of the original film’s cast while welcoming those in new roles, “Paddington 2” stars Hugh Bonneville (“Downton Abbey”), Sally Hawkins (“Blue Jasmine”), Brendan Gleeson (“The Guard,” “Into the Storm,” “In Bruges”), Julie Walters (“Billy Elliot,” “Educating Rita”), Jim Broadbent (“Iris”), and Peter Capaldi (“Dr Who”), with romantically bumbling Hugh Grant (“Four Weddings and a Funeral”), and Ben Whishaw (“The Hollow Crown”) as the voice of Paddington. The starring ensemble also includes Madeleine Harris, Samuel Joslin, and Imelda Staunton (“Vera Drake”) as the voice of Aunt Lucy. You will enjoy Paddington 2, if you like: the “Harry Potter” films and “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them”. - Cameos
I love being surprised by some of my favorite British actors as they pop-up as cameos in this movie! No spoilers here 🙂
