Being a HUGE fan of Pixar story-driven shorts and feature films, it is my pleasure to share the newest summer blockbuster news with you! Disney•Pixar’s CARS 3 in theaters now!
I was invited to the Cars 3 Blogger Event in San Francisco, and had the opportunity to watch about 70% of the movie and interview some of the creative teams behind the third installment in the Cars saga! Back in 2006, the original Cars movie blew me away. From the first sounds in the film, of McQueen’s revving engine, I became completely lost in the Pixar world of cars and forgot that I was watching automobile characters instead of people! Any additional Cars movie had big shoes to fill, but trust me when I tell you: CARS 3 IS AMAZING!
CRAZY 8 DRAMA — In “Cars 3,” Lightning McQueen (voice of Owen Wilson) hits the road in an effort to reignite his career. Along the way, he finds himself in the middle of a smash-and-crash, figure-8 race, facing off against local legend Miss Fritter, a formidable school bus who—like #95 himself—doesn’t like to lose. Featuring Lea DeLaria (Netflix’s “Orange is the New Black”) as the voice of Miss Fritter, Disney•Pixar’s “Cars 3” opens in U.S. theaters on June 16, 2017. ©2017 Disney•Pixar. All Rights Reserved.
The new characters and story-line are wonderfully braided together, and remind me of how impressed I was with the original movie.
