My family really likes the Kung Fu Panda movies and was very excited to see the third sequel over opening weekend. Have you seen it yet? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments below.
My daughter grabbed her friend and the four of us went to my favorite movie theater for an afternoon matinee showing. I was surprised to see the theater as empty as it was… usually that is a bad sign for opening weekend… but in this case, the movie was no disappointment.
We have seen Kung Fu Panda many times, and always enjoy the characters, story and dialogue. If you enjoy the previous movies and tv episodes, then you will have a good time with the next “legendary adventure of awesomeness” chapter with dragon warrior Po and his friends. The cast of talented voice are back and bring the entertainment:
This time, an ancient warrior in the spirit realm is determined to obtain as much ‘chi’ power as he can. Beginning with Po’s grandmaster, Oogway, evil supernatural Chinese bull Kai hunts and captures all the kung fu masters within jade jewels.
Meanwhile, back in town, Po’s long-lost panda birth father suddenly appears and wants to bring him back to the secret community of pandas, “where Po belongs”. Excited to be surrounded by ‘his kind’, Po immediately latches onto the panda and leaves his goose-father behind. Worried about Po, goose-father Mr. Ping, sneaks into the panda village to make sure that Po is safe.
At this point, Kai has encapsulated every kung fu master and seeks the last piece to complete his jade collection: the pandas! Will Po be able to help the pandas protect themselves? Does Po’s ‘father’ have a secret he is not sharing…?
So, grab the kiddos, or some friends and watch the story unfold as Po learns more about himself and his true potential. There are laughs and fun for all ages.
MINECRAFT BONUS:
Players will start their journey from Po’s village and work towards reaching the Panda Village. To enter the secret area, you must possess all 6 special discs. These discs are located throughout the Kung Fu Panda Minecraft World. Some are easy to obtain, others are more challenging.
