Wonderful Childrens’ Book Exchange

October 16, 2015 by Stella

I saw this on Facebook, and decided to give it a try.

Here’s how it works:

Step 1: Send a book to the #1 spot.

Step 2- Copy and paste the status update that I posted on my wall and get your 6 people that want to participate.

Example:

“Join me in a fun children’s book exchange chain. Any age child is fine. Parents, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles – anyone can participate.”

But, only 6 can join my list.

You have to purchase and mail one book to a child, and your child receives 36 in return! Let me know if you are interested and I’ll send you the info!

…

**psst you can do this in 10 minutes if you order the book through amazon…

Step 3 – Send them the paragraph below except with your info in spot #2 and other child as spot #1.

___________________________________________________

#1 [Child who I am sending to] Name
address
descriptions of likes, example of books

#2 Veronica Girard
address
Veronica is in fifth grade and will be 11 years old in December.  She prefers graphic novels, like Bad Kitty, Calvin and Hobbes, and also enjoys Goosebumps, Harry Potter, and Minecraft. She prefers main characters who are girls.

———————————————————————————

Basically if everyone continues the exchange, then the chain keeps working. Anyone who doesn’t participate, will break their line. At minimum, I receive one book and present one. At maximum, I gift 6 books and receive 36.
