Since my first post about LuLaRoe, “Discovering LuLaRoe”, I have been simply amazed with the garments and the consultants that I have befriended. The material is so soft and comfortable, that I forget being self-conscious of my hips, bulge, etc. and have been rediscovering items in my wardrobe to create new looks for myself. I am normally a jeans and top kinda girl, but now I am loving the ‘girly skirt’ side of myself. Meanwhile, my daughter, with her size 6 waist, size 10 leg length and serious textile sensitivity – has been floating around the house and begging to sleep in her new clothes! Maybe LLR will start making pajamas… #LuLaRoe
I will admit, that my daughter was my guinea pig for LuLaRoe… but after seeing her enthusiasm, I could not help myself and dove into finding out more about this company and products. Similar to my experience, DeAnne Stidham the founder of LuLaRoe was inspired by her daughter in, “Our Story”. Next, I learned that each piece is unique! When you see a garment in the size and pattern that you desire, you have to grab it immediately! No two are alike!
The individuality of each item is very interesting, but as a result, I am having difficulty hunting down a similar piece to match my daughter. We don’t usually wear the same things, but this was the first time that she asked! So, of course, I am doing everything I can to oblige! Where do I buy my new pretty things? Online Parties, of course!
I jumped onto Facebook and discovered SEVERAL multi-consultant events and sales flurrying around on a daily basis! I quickly joined so many that I could not keep track! Eventually, I connected and began friendships with some of the consultants to learn more about the product and how to find my items. Other women are also trying to find their dream pieces, which have been coined “Unicorns”. Finding these rare unicorns is the ultimate treasure hunt. Fun when I have time to sift through 100s of photo albums, but also very time-consuming.
As a result, I decided to create my own Multi-consultant Marketplace (click to join) on Facebook, which will have revolving albums on a constant basis. The Marketplace will launch officially on April 4th! Shoppers can always shop, and consultants can always spotlight their unique inventory.
I will continue to add more items to my collection, as well as reconfigure items I have in closet so my clothes make me feel better about myself.
